Hayley Johnson – Camp Director

  • Leadership Team: 2022 – Present
  • 10 summer experiences at the camp
  • Bachelor’s Degree to be completed May 2025 – Elementary Education, History & Social Sciences


“I can’t wait to see both new and returning faces at camp this summer. We have so many amazing activities for this season. Some of my favorite camp activities are outdoor living and dance, and seeing our campers try new things. The campers have always been excited about the variety shows. I’m looking forward to creating new memories for our campers.”

Ella Gil – Assistant Director & Waterfront Director 

  • Leadership Team: 2024 – Present
  • 4-H Camper since age 8
  • Teen Leader → Staff Member
  • American Red Cross–Certified lifeguard since 2021
  • Master of Social Work – to be completed May 2025, Simmons University
  • Preschool teacher in Brookline, Mass (4 years)
  • Clinical experience in outpatient therapy and early childhood social work


“Basically, if it involves working with kids and having fun, I’m all in! Supporting young people in all kinds of environments is a huge passion of mine, and I can’t wait to bring that energy (plus lots of sunscreen and camp spirit) to camp again this summer!”

Arianna Netter – Teen Programs Director & Ropes Course Director

  • 11 summer experiences at camp
  • Progressed through Teen Leader programs → Staff
  • Extensive ropes course safety training
  • Oversees teen programming: movie nights, overnights, special events


“Camp is a place where teens are supported, included, and encouraged to grow—and now, in my leadership role, I’m proud to help make sure every camper feels that same sense of belonging and possibility. Watching teens take supported risks and grow in confidence, communication, and leadership is one of the best parts of my job.”

Deana Handfield – Program Director

  • Assistant Teen Leader Director: 2025
  • First year on the Leadership Team
  • 15 summer experiences at camp
  • Progressed from Clover Camper → Teen Programs → Counselor → Program Director
  • 7 years as a Red Cross-certified lifeguard
  • Paraprofessional at a local elementary school
  • Experience with children aged 6 months – 17 years (daycare, swim lessons, Birth to Three)
